MyAssistant047 is a service designed to help those Olim or foreign residents, who need assistance in  understanding  their bills and official correspondence in Hebrew.  Your telephone bills, cableTV and internet bills, your municipality bills ("Arnona"), your insurance renewal and other letters which need to be understood, and you may wish to query any details which you do not agree with.

You may need to take a phone call, or make a phone call to an office, where there is no one who can help you because of the language barrier.
I am offering my assistance to you, to deal with all these issues, which no doubt weigh you down. I am not offering you legal or financial advice. I am merely assisting you by translating your correspondence and interpreting the communications sent to you by the various authorities and organisations.

I have an extensive experience in dealing with the various authorities. I meet olim upon their arrival in Israel and guide them through their first meeting with the Aliyah office of the Ministry of Absorption at Ben Gurion Airport. I was an Oleh myself some 55 years ago, and I am familiar with the difficulties Olim who cannot speak, read and write in Hebrew must be going through.  I am hoping I can make their lives  easier by assisting them through their steps until they feel confident enough to deal with their official matters by themselves.

My services are charged at a modest and affordable rate, and once you realise their benefit , I hope you will take out a quarterly, or annual subscription at a discounted rate.

Olim referred by the UJIA, TELFED, the AACI and NefeshBeNefesh are entitled to a 10% Discount.

How do you submit your questions when you need my assistance?

Once you register on this website and become a "Registered User" you have various ways of passing your queries on to me.
For example, if you wish to understand your telephone bill, you can send it to me by a variety of ways: faxing it,
                              sending a photocopy by mail,
                              scanning it into your computer and e-mailing it,
                              taking a photo by your mobile camera and e-mailing it,
                             or better and easier than all the above- registering with your local Post Office to the IPost service. This novel and free service offered by the Post Office arranges for many of the bills and letters sent to you by an ever growing number of organisations to be sent to a secured e-mail storage provided by the Postal Services.
You can then access your highly secured IPost box by your unique username and password, extract the document and forward it to me.

Once I receive the document, I will translate it and explain it to you, translate your response to it into Hebrew, and send it back to you to be signed and to be forwarded by you to the organisation issuing it.

Should you need to make a telephone enquiry, or should there be a need to assist you with taking an important phone call in Hebrew, we shall set up a conference call, in which I will interpret to each party the words of the other.

You can call me by phone, we can talk by Skype, you can write to me by mail, fax or e-mail and I will always return your call.

My charges are set up at an hourly rate, with a minimum of one hour at a time, and any excess is calculated pro-rata, rounded up to the next quarter of an hour. Details of my rates will be sent to you upon request (Annex 'A').

Whilst Israel is technologically very advanced, and has a stable economy, there is unfortunately a large gap between the well to do and the poor. MyAssistant047 decided to support one particular organisation which specialises in helping the helpless, the poorest of the poor in a variety of ways. MyAssistant047 donates 20% of its revenues to "LaSova", an organisation for the homeless, providing shelters and soupkitchens to the homeless in Tel Aviv and other facilities throughout Israel.
